Linda L. Brown, Ph.D.*
Linda provides support and advice regarding such matters as statistical testing when conducting adverse impact analyses; conducting test validation studies; and choosing or developing employee selection instruments. She also provides indepth psychological individual assessment services for executive and management level candidates.
Linda’s consulting experience includes assignments in the manufacturing, scientific research, distribution, construction, healthcare, education, public utilities, local government, not-for-profit, hospitality and financial services industries. Her practice focuses on employee surveys, employee selection and assessment, strategic HR planning, talent management, performance and leadership coaching, organizational assessment and change and 360 degree feedback.
Prior to earning her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of Akron, Linda spent over 20 years in a variety of human resources positions, generalist to executive. She worked for Nestlé, General Motors, Pioneer-Standard Electronics and Kenworth Truck Company among other companies in a variety of HR roles and environments.
Linda has taught at the University of Akron and Kent State University.
